University of Sussex

When a University exhibits at a UCAS fair they have to ensure that their offering makes the right lasting first impression – it might be the first time a prospective student is introduced to them, and there is a need to stand out in the competitive environment. It was therefore very important to come up with a visual design that delivered the University’s brand values and positioning. An advertising campaign had already been rolled out and so we built on this with similar messaging and impactful imagery to deliver the message that Sussex is a spirited, exciting and inspiring place to study. Following the success of the UCAS stand design we were asked to develop the materials for undergraduate open days. We focussed on the bright, confident colour palette from the brand guidelines to give all UG recruitment collateral a coherent look and feel.
